PBH / colombia (travelguide, pictures) / post |
I'm traveling to Bogota in March. This site has been useful in locating hotels in north Bogota. My question is: why are the rates so high? Every hotel has quoted 100 USD and up -- Urapanes, Hamilton, Saint Simon, Morrison, La Bohemme. Does anyone recommend one of these over another?
PS - Will I be able to catch a soccer game or bullfight in late March - early April?

I stay here about every 3 months, it's about 8 min. from the airport and directly across the street from a nice mall called Salitre Plaza, I think it would be in the Northwest area of town, no where near $100.00 a night for a complete apartment.

RPW says on Jan 11, 2006, 05:22: Thanks for the suggestions. I am interested in the Las Americas in Chapinero. However, I am traveling with a 'nervous' friend who may insist on the Zona Rosa Area.
