What is typical Bogota weather? Do you get blue skies every week? Sunny days? I already know its kind of chilly. I may be moving to Colombia, so I must look before I leap. Gracias, amigos & amigas.

litost says on Jan 24, 2006, 13:36: I think mild would be the best word to describe Bogota weather during the day, and it can even get pretty warm if the sun is shining... but yes, cool at night and occasionally downright cold. There are some rainy seasons and some dry ones, but there isn't really a reliable pattern.

Gomezman5 says on Jan 24, 2006, 13:41: I have to second Colombia Board...but I think the weather is fairly predictable. The temperature hardly ever varies much. The day time temperature is almost always between 65 and 70 degrees. And the night time temp between the mid to high 40's....once in a while staying in the low 50's. How much more predictable can you get than that?

Crazy Eagle says on Jan 24, 2006, 14:47: gracias! Gracias amigas and amigos! Bogota sounds like a fun place to visit, but because of the weather I will restrict my search to Medellin, Cali, and ... well, what about Bucaramanga? Sunny place?
