Bogota nightlife recommendations/advice

Interested in going to Bogota and am wondering if anyone has recommendations as to where to go for happening nightlife, best bars, dance clubs, live music, etc. in zona rosa and parque 93. Would like to meet up with cool locals. Is there anything a first timer needs to know about the party scene at these establishments? What is it like in Bogota? What is the etiquette in these type of environments in regards to dress code, cover, payment, etc. For example, in Brasil you get a card that totals your cover and drinks and pay when you exit so you do not have to handle money everytime you get a drink. Thanks for any advice.

Bogota has cover for their happening clubs on the weekends. I went to kukaramacara, which was really good. Most clubs are in the zona rosa, you can just walk around and see what you like.

If you are a drinker, don't buy beer unless that is all you drink. Get a bottle of something instead. Advice: Aguardiente is the poor man's liquor. This is a good site with clubs in Bogota: http://bogota.2night.com/home

In Bogota you usually pay when you get the drink.

If you need some help finding what you want send me an e-mail to jorgeaev at yahoo.es and i will help you find what you need at very good pricing. Also if you need a cheap ticket or you are looking for a vacation package let me know as well, i have a friend in a Travel Agency here in Bogota and she will give you a very good rate too. Good luck.
