Some administrators of buildings in this area are denouncing the touristic apartments located in this area, by solicitude of neighbors denounces.

They denounces starts with continues late arrival with badges at midnight or very early like 4 am or even more early.

They denounce to DAS or DIAN these touristic apartments because some tourist brings “prepagos” bitches to their apartments, this is for them a insecure condition and neighbors feel discussing with this situation.

Neighbors are denouncing these apartments because the landlord don’t have a contract for more than 6 months, and a lot of people that they don’t know is entering an leaving the building constantly (or walking in front of their doors with badges), they feel insecure with the new tenants and the tenants guest.

Neighbors said that even in USA there have thieves, and some gringos steal too. I don’t want to hurt senses with that. But that are the arguments that they use, it can be only jealousy.

They don’t like that because some tourist like gingos or Colombians that live outside the country, rent a property to visit family and friends and they put loud music one night with a 5 friends in the property like a party. And neighbors said that every tenant make a party every week, that because this apartments are rented for a period of week or two weeks regularly.

More neighbors feel insecure because Macarena is in downtown and near to calendaria that is a dangerous neighborhood, and there is a lot of people near them they don’t trust.

In summary, you need to register with the Registro Nacional de Turismo to become a touristic services provider and other things in regards to the building where the apartment is located.

I don't want to promote this new rule or law, but every person involved in this business must know it, because even your neighbors know it and can denounce you and take you out of business, or may be you can be denunced by unfair competition. That I think is purpose of the creation of this new law.
