On Sundays along the Ciclovia route, shouldn't be any shortage of Bikes/Venders/mechanics. Otherwise google Bike shops/rentals in Bogota or place an Ad in Craigslist for Bike Rentals wanted.

We "hired" bikes from two random people. One bike was hired from a mechanic fixing bikes on the street, he was a bit nervous but we convinced him. The other bike was hired from a market stall trying to sell it. Both were hired for the ciclovia. One of the common myths in Bogota seems to be that it is easy to hire bikes on the street - we could not find anyone actually renting out bikes as a business.
