Best looking Flag? La bandera mas bonita?
So they posed this question in Mexico section but since that area is more deserted the San Jose de Guaviare these days lets bring it here.

First, Colombia did not possess large, easily accessible quantities of gold, silver, tin, zinc and lead and second, a fair amount of the gold mining was centered in and around Antioquia, it wasn't all that active until the late 1800s, and it was a local business. Ultimately that small-scale mining provided a lot of capital and technical know-how that made Medellin a regional industrial power today.

Do you want me to try and find it again? It talked about how in some of those former mining villages, there are still some paisa families with Cornish last names.
