i have wimax in the apt.. it sucks. i will get rid of it as soon as the contract is done

in the business i have telmex.... cable/ internet and a free phone line.. its about 170.000 a month i think... thats for 2000k speed internet.. upgrading to 4000k will set you back about 240.000... i think this telmex is the best deal out..

i also have directv office and home which works out reasonably well... im only charged 10.000 for the home as its just like an extension of the business..

When I left there 2 weeks ago Telmex was offering some pretty good sign up perks with high speed.
However, they are not available everywhere in Medellin they told me...check them out also
The packages were Internet with phone service.

EPM Une cable internet has been pretty reliable for me. I did have a really disappointing experience from their customer service on one occasion.

Wimax technology is poor. Don't choose Wimax, especially if you plan on using VOIP.

Telmex sounds interesting. I can't comment from experience, but I would look at TelMex as my first option if signing up for a new service.

que nota!

Hello!

Use 12Voip.com to call long distance, instead of Vonage. It has free calls to USA & noncell Colombian phone numbers!

Vonage sucks.

$40 a month for customers in Canada.

$25 or $26 a month for US customers.

Canadian dollar and US dollar are close to par.

What gives? There has to be somebody out there who gives there international customers a better shake.

I pay 20.00 a month for the 500 outbound non network minute plan...All inbound, toll free outbound and in network outbound calls are not counted against your 500 minutes..You can't beat that....14.99 plus taxes.. Love Vonage Medellin and Miami both have vonage lines..

I am very content with Une. I have triple play for two years now. Almost no problems. Furthermore they installed very quickly. The first time it took a week when they told me it could be up to three weeks. When I moved they told me the same and they showed up (without appointment off course) in 3 three days. The installers told me this does depend on the neighborhood you live in though.

Hola!

Does anyone here replying look at the basic info I mention?

Why pay $40 a month for unlimited calls to Colombia with Vonage when my suggestions are FREE to call 5 hours a week???????

I call over 1200 minutes a month free to call TELEPHONES in Colombia!

Vonage is better if you are doing business in the US. People can still call you in Colombia on your US number.

Hola!

Well, guess using a Vonage acct would be better for business!

People would think your online business was in the USA, when you are living down in Colombia!
