On the other note, you are partially correct about the acceptance of nudity in Europe. However, going topless is normally reserved for beaches and certain parks, etc. The bad thing is that at most places, you might see one or two hot topless women and a bunch of saggy, disgusting older women showing their gross puchas.

Here are two examples of the two extremes of this "phenomenon".

Once at about 17, I was in Spain in a little beach town called Lloret de Mar. I remember walking onto the beach and seeing the most amazing looking Swedish woman walking past me with her top off. That was definitely the hottest woman I've ever seen topless at a beach.

On the other end of the spectrum, I was going punting(a boat ride on a narrow boat you push with a big pole) with a cute Italian girl on the Thames River in Oxford. We came around a bend and spotted the truly frightening scene of about 50 or 60 really old, pasty guys laying out on the grass butt naked. We started laughing so hard that I slipped and fell headfirst into the murky water. It turns out that it was a nudist "beach" right on the river banks. My uncle later laughed and told me about the place. Some of our resident Brits might know about this place.

CG- You would not believe it... at 17 I went to lloret de mar as well. Man was that a fun trip. I had been clubbing before in Colombia, but this was crazy times at 17. so many hot women, cause it was spring break (or something) so there were girls from all over europe, these Portuguese girls, my god. And we were supposedly at an international soccer tournament playing against barcelona fc and such... oh God did we get smoked, but had such a good time.

Honestly, I don't really remember the names of the places where we partied. Where is that video taken? That looks like a DJ Tiesto concert. It looks like the same stage set he used when I saw him a few years ago.


We will be going to visit my brother in Barcelona next year and I may take a side trip to Lloret just for old times sake. However, my aunt now lives in Palma de Mallorca, so we may head there instead.

I like some of that stuff. As I said, I saw Tiesto in 2006 and really liked his show. I like some other acts like Delerium/Conjure One, Thunderball, Blank & Jones, Solarstone, Layo & Bushwacka, etc.

The stampede itself is a huge cowboy hoe-down, which I also love by the way. But they also hold an event at one of the major clubs called '10 days in Ibiza' so what they do is bring 10 well known shows for the Stampede days as an alternative for people that aren't so down with the cowboy culture. For me it's a break because 10 days of country is too much.

Mitch- if you have links I wouldn't mind checking out what these guys are spinning... ok the videos just came up

As much as I like the way women look with high heels, I would recommend against using them often. I have know several women who had to get bunions removed. Supposedly, high heels don't directly cause them, but they can hasten their development in those that are predisposed to have them.
