gringa-colombiana says on Sep 29, 2004, 12:29: Una Baia! Aguila is the most common beer in Colombia. I personally thought Baia was the best, but thats because I am a chick who like lite beer with a bit of lime. : )

ShazCas says on Sep 30, 2004, 12:39: Yaayyy! Really pleased to know there are other people who think Aguila's the best lager, cos it IS by far! And Aguila Light's good for women who like Corona and that kind of lighter lager.

Gator says on Sep 30, 2004, 19:09: My choice is... Aguila but it's Poker in the campos. BUT Aguila, as Mr. Hollywood says, it aint going to win any international contests. "Credidi pretio parvo emere et magno vendere tibi in animo fuisse!" . 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

litost says on Sep 30, 2004, 19:26: I hail from a small city in coffee country, and Poker is king. Costeña is second best, and Aguila's around but not as big as in cities.

Mr. Hollywood says on Sep 30, 2004, 20:45: Poker, Aguila or Bud The Colombian beer industry is stuck exactly where the US beer business was about 25 years ago before the rise of many independent "micro-breweries" brought high-quality brewing to the states. An Aguila tastes almost exactly like a Bud or a Pabst or any other bland cheap American beer.

litost says on Oct 1, 2004, 17:57: I'm no beer expert, but Budweiser tastes horrible to me, much worse than any of the mentioned colombian beers. Sure, they may not be "world class" beers, but I find they go very nice with some rumba and colombianas... that's the most important thing.
