Bolivariano. Cali-Medellin 39K Good price if you don't mind wasting a day. Might even see some countyside. Eh. Took the bus from Cancun-Chetumal last week. 5 1/2 hrs. (My novia was still in school. Had to come back to work on the 23rd. Hope to hit Cali in Feb.) Had DVD's. Did'nt seem that long. I'm sure these buses are probably simular.

The mini vans leave from the same terminals as the busses. They are good - you get a seat allocated etc and only 6 people or so. Cant remember the price but wont break the bank. I took it from Cali to Periera and then from periera to Med.

We took Expreso Arauca and it was about a 9 hour trip during the day from Tuluá to Medellín. They views are gorgeous and they stop at this very nice estadero for lunch. I love making that trip!

Dude, the food is awesome, carne asada, bandeja paisa, chorizo, all good stuff and you can see all kinds of trees, cows, and even coffee plantations from your table. It may be standard for most but for people like me who rarely see that kind of stuff, it was a great trip.

Yea, sounds like a smorgy of Colombian food. Every now and then it's cool to bypass the airplane flight and see a little something. Who knows, might see something, or someplace you might want to come back too soon. Medellin will still be there, later that day.
