Robert Jorge says on Jan 31, 2009, 16:13: I am not familiar with that barrio sanandressi. My guess, is that it is 4 estrato area. But just a guess. I'll ask the ex tonight. I am pretty familiar with the city, and can say that it is most likely not a dangerous area. (Since I haven't heard of it) "You can not take the barrio out of the girl you really can't." Robert Jorge says on Feb 1, 2009, 08:24: Exactly BradK. Probably the most dangerous areas would be directly south east of centro. The neighborhoods between centro and Alcosto. Those neighborhoods are where there are a lot of car part tiendas. I believe one of those barrios name is san isidro. (sp?) But for the most part, there are not that many dangerous areas. "Dangerous" meaning more risky or dangerous than another area. If you know where the Exito is downtown, (it used to be Ley), south east of it gets pretty seedy. Lots of glue huffers, indigents, transvestite prostitutes, etc. Kind of like Cutler Ridge, Miami. jajajaja "You can not take the barrio out of the girl you really can't." kat1 (Moderator) (Trustee board) (☼Travelguide writer) says on Feb 1, 2009, 14:34: It is ridiculouis but a ticket will cost you around 250.000 pesos or more in economic class, bussines will be more expensive, this is with Aires but i know Satena is around the same, although satena sometimes do 30% discount for senior people and kids.

Robert Jorge says on Feb 1, 2009, 19:22: The price for a buseta varies big-time from the Bogota terminal to Villavo. We went there, and were quoted 300.000 pesos per person. It was a holiday weekend, and everybody was trying to go to Villavo. I ended up finding a taxi off the street in front of the terminal for 180.000 pesos total for two people. We bought the driver dinner and a beer along the way. But normally, the ticket is between 20mil and 30mil a person for a bus ticket. The traffic was terrible, and it took us 3 hours to get to Villavo. In a taxi, normally it can be done in less than 2 hours. In a bus, it is normally 2.5 hours. kat1 (Moderator) (Trustee board) (☼Travelguide writer) says on Feb 2, 2009, 01:53: you mean 300.000 cop!!!!! wow Robert ahora si como decimos en Colombia " te vieron la cara de gringo!!! no way i would have paid that money i would rather have waited until the bank holiday passed, this is the first time i heard someone paid that amount of money that was a big rip off!!!! i would say 30.000 was ok sometimes in a very busy weekend, my brother had to paid that amount a few weeks ago when was the feria of Catama, but over 30.000 no one would pay that. I would had take note of the bus driver and report it, that was abuse and taking advantage. never again pay that amount what a rip off!!!!
