Barranquilla Visit

I might be going to BAQ in June. With all the talk of war from Chavez in Venezuela, is it possible Barranquilla could be attacked or conquered by Venezuelan forces? I hope not. There's this girl I want to see down there. Also is Bellavista barrio/ Calle 88 considered a nice area or a slum? Is it located in North Barranquilla? Any helpful answers would be appricated. Thanks Wolfttz.

It is not going ot be invaded any time soon.

Calle 88 is about 10 blocks to the north of the barrio bellavista. bellavista is near the zoo. That area is in the north east of the city and is safe (relavtively).........

It's only a matter of time before Chavez finishes work on his nuclear weapon.

Before that happens, it's highly likely he will invade MedellĂn or Barranquilla in the coming weeks or months as he has acquired a very large arsenal of weapons from Iran, Russia, Bolivia and other evil countries in the last 6 months.

Don't forget, Chavez hates Americans and will almost certainly chop off your head or hand you over to his Farc friends if you are discovered.

If you do come, keep a very low profile. Good luck my friend.

Didn't you hear Chavez's forces took Barraquilla this morning and are now heading for Cartagena. I have rounded up all the Gringos here and we are headed out on horseback to stop him at the pass.

I am headed for the Blue Ridge Mountains. There are caves there where all the survivors are gathering. We will come out when the enemy forces get sick and tired of all the vendors trying to sell them stuff and they decide to go home.

Do you have enough food and prepagos up there?

Well there is lots of food and Club Colombia. As for the prepagos, they were asked. But when they found out that there were no ATM machines up there......they had such disgusted looks on their faces. It was like asking them.....to get a normal job.
