I am due to arrive quite late, (2200 hours), at BAQ airport. Do the buses from the terminal run all night? Or on the other hand, can someone recommend a cheapish hotel close to the airport?
Thanks in advance.

Buses don't run at that time of night and don't depart from the airport to SM. You might be lucky if you get a taxi to the Simon Bolivar street (on the way out of the city). There is always a few buses waiting to take people to SM.
