Banana Thief

For several weeks I´ve been putting out bananas to attract tanagers but a thief comes in the night and steals them:

Potus flavus megalotus (the Colombian subspecies)

I will side with everyone else...great foto's. Would hate to accidently get one of these Perromonte's backed in a corner, someone's gonna lose and it would not be this animal haha
Bet also though that Elmo is around trying to make ends meet around there!

Yes Desi. I always hum strands of "a caballo pa´ monte" on my way home.

The Perromonte (Kinkajou) can turn it´´s hind feet completely backwards for climbing. It walked up the post to my deck like a gecko.
