Hola!

Avianca's new website design REALLY needs improvement for the English section!

Words are cut off and the fonts overlap! I can not read the information online now!

When they can't keep track of their reservations, I have my doubts that they can keep their planes in the air.

My carrier of last resort.

Problem is their call center is in Medellin NOT NYC. Typical Medalo I guess, huh!

They are changing but taking time....I flew them 12/21-01/02 Great Service compared to 2006 when I said I would never fly them again and was using only American and Copa for almost all of 2007 until the Holiday time came and got a good price on Avianca and what a change..well MIA Airport there in the new Concourse now..self check in for domestic flights within Colombia..

Interesting-we have switched to COPA but may have to take another look at Avianca-which was our airline of choice for years.;

Hola!

I flew one time with COPA! Never again if possible!

Their staff lied at the gate in Cali and said I would make my connection in Panama City. That was a lie, since the plane was 1 hour late leaving Cali, due to mechanical problems. Avianca gave me a FREE ticket when it happened with Avianca. Others that missed their connection from other COPA departure airports were told the same lie! DUMP them to Panama City is their policy, and then they keep you overnight at a Panama hotel, instead of staying another day in Cali! COPA paid me to get an American plane back through a trip to Miami, since I told the other passengers they needed to get their free tickets that OFFICALLY COPA owed them! I was the other passengers' advocate, and COPA shipped me out leaving the other 30 people there upset and confused. Finally, COPA even wanted to send its customers to JFK, instead of EWR!

In addition, I had to get a $20 hotel and $40 for a taxi for my overnight layover for my EWR-Cali flight through Panama City using COPA.

As a GOLD/ORO member with Avianca Plus, I get an additional 10 kilos more baggage allowance too, and visit the business lounge for free also!

Greg, they are all pricks. Avianca forced me to buy a ticket just before boarding for a flight that I already had a ticket for. And they did that after I had called to confirm the previous day. Several days later, after I had called them, they agreed that they had lost my record. I asked them to reverse the charges for the ticket that they forced me to buy. They refused.

When I tried to use the credit they issued, they lost the record of that credit. I wrote them several letters and hand delivered them. They refused to do anything.

To this day, they still owe me around US$110 for that second ticket.

FUCK AVIANCA!!!!

Hola!

I can get you Avianca President's PERSONAL Blackberry, if you want to contact him! It gets past his secretary! He assisted me when I had a major problem! The person screwing up at JFK is no longer employed there!

Hola!

I have Avianca President's PERSONAL Blackberry Email. It skips past his secretary. He assisted me with a previous problem at JFK. That employee there is no longer employed with Avianca!

Thank you, Greg. I appreciate your offer. But I have written Avianca off. I am only going to butt the dam for so long. I use AA and Aires now.
