We have been hearing very good things about the "new" Avianca. While we are fans of COPA we may give them a try next trip to the USA. We use Avianca/SAM internally and have had no real problems. Those that have occurred happen with any airline.

I've always heard bad things about Avianca, but I've flown Avianca MIA to BAQ many times without problems. Although I do think that I've had better service with Copa / Aero Republica. I'm flying American next week MIA to BAQ for the first time...so I'll see how that goes.
