It's On Avianca's Site... but in Spanish: Translation is;

International, each person, two pieces of luggage at 30 kg (70#)
each bag-one carry on at 10 kg (26#)

Internal Colombian Travel Total luggage weight 20kg (44#) and one carry on 10 kg (26 #) Things like purses, normal photographic equipment, lap top don't count against carry on.

If you fly international to Colombia and continue on with out a stop over-even changing planes or going from Avianca to SAM-to another internal destination like Miami-Bogotá-Santa Marta the international limits will apply.

Gator... ... is right, but it's also available in English. On the Avianca site you can go to 'Para Viajeros' 'Equipaje' 'Equipaje', then in the top right corner select English and the Spanish page is translated. The direct URL is the same: http://www.avianca.com/ParaViajeros/Equipajes/equipaje.htm

restrictions avianca allows 2 70-pound bags to be checked, and you can pay to take 2 more ($100 each, I think). This is 20 pounds per bag more than US airlines allow ans $50 per extra bag cheaper than US airlines charge. Plus, there`s always the fact that if you "discuss" something with a Colombian long enough, you will eventually get your way.
