Arroz con Pollo Recipe

Hi,

I'm hoping someone can help me, I'm cooking Arroz con Pollo for the first time in about a year tonight, and I just can't remember if you cook the chicken along with the rice or beforehand and then add?

If anyone has a simple recipe, then that would also be really helpful.

strain and save the broth.
remove chicken meat from the bones.
saute onions and veggies.
add chicken, rice, broth, and water.
boil, turn down low, cover, don't look, 20 min.
