Army Seizes Large Guerrilla Arsenal in Colombia

Apr 29 -- Troops seized a large guerrilla arsenal in the southern Colombian province of Caqueta that held 237,691 rounds of ammunition, 123 landmines and 1,000 kilos (2,202 pounds) of explosives, the army said.

Colombia Security Forces Destroy Two Rebel Oil Refineries

BOGOTA – Security forces members found and destroyed two makeshift refineries used by the FARC guerrilla group to process oil stolen from a pipeline in a rural area in Colombia’s southwestern Nariño province, on the border with Ecuador, officials said on Monday, adding that two suspects were arrested.
