OK I have to ask this since it seems to be an ongoing debate in my household. Can someone please give me a serious answer real quick because I imagine the responses I'll get afterward.
From what I know in the US, the number is the BAND above the ribcage and the letter is the CUP size. If you get a breast enhancement, the band shouldn't change (much if at all) rather just the cupsize.
I have a bunch of colombianas that say no, the number changes. Who's right? is bra sizing different down here?

Robert Jorge says on Oct 17, 2007, 18:47: Hey bufalo. According to my source - and I would consider her an authority on the topic, the bra sizes in Colombia are identicle to the bra sizes in the US. If somebody is a 34C in the US, they are the same in Colombia.

Robert Jorge says on Oct 17, 2007, 18:54: But, if a women gets a breast enhancement, it can change the chest size too (number), not just the cup size (letter). Especially if the boob-job creates a much bigger set, the woman might feel more comfortable in a larger chest measurement bra. But, you are fundamentally correct - breast enhancement changes the cup size (C,D,DD!!) for the most part. The chest size is not as significantly changed. For instance, going from a small B to a C might not require a larger measurement bra - just the bigger cups.

miamimike says on Oct 17, 2007, 20:46: I go by the Old Time Tested "Handfull" Measurement method--Way less then a Handfull(I have big hands-mani largos), maybe a 32B, Handfull with fingers curved--maybe 36C. Fingers and hands open wide as in basketball gripping mode--44D + or better. This method has never been known to fail,,,Works worldwide, metric, nonmetric ect,,, "There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. RussianFred says on Oct 17, 2007, 21:49: FYI - Pants sizers are not the same for women a 6 in Colombia is between a 0-1 in America. Damm, American women are large! Annual Drug Deaths: Tobacco: 395,000, Alcohol: 125,000, 'Legal' Drugs: 38,000, Illegal Drug Overdoses: 5,200, Marijuana: 0. vicshere says on Oct 18, 2007, 06:26: now that we are speaking about bra sizes...why is it that a lot of Colombian women tend to wear a smaller bra (maybe 1 bra size) ....I see many girls wearing a bra that is for a teenager...like they are trying to show cleavage when they maybe have small tityies....it really looks weird....they pull their tits together with a small bra to impress the men?????...it look very weird.....use the right size bra and show what you have period listo |
