Spirit Airlines flying from 24 of July from Bogota to Ft Laud, by the end of the year from Ft Laud to Armenia and from next year two flights weekly to San Andres...

La aerolínea de bajo costo Spirit Airlines confirmó ayer que iniciará vuelos diarios entre Bogotá y Fort Lauderdale (Florida), a partir del 24 de julio, mientras que a Armenia lo hará a finales de este año.
La confirmación fue hecha ayer tarde por el director de Comunicaciones de esa compañía para América Latina Juan Arbeláez, quien llegó a la ciudad en compañía de un grupo de periodistas y camarógrafos de CNN, en español, que grabarán en esta capital dos especiales.
Arbeláez también reveló que el cuarto destino al que volarán en Colombia será San Andrés, isla a la que conectarán con territorio estadounidense a partir de mayo de 2009, con dos frecuencias semanales.
Estas nuevas rutas de Spirit, que se suman a la que desde el pasado 8 de mayo atienden entre Cartagena y Fort Lauderdale, serán atendidas con un Airbus (A319) con capacidad para 144 pasajeros.
CNN, EN CARTAGENA
Para promover aún más a Cartagena como destino, la compañía Spirit invitó a esta capital a un equipo periodístico de la cadena CNN en Español quienes permanecerán en la ciudad hasta el próximo domingo recorriendo sitios de interés, entre ellos las Islas del Rosario.
Esta cadena estadounidense grabará dos especiales en la ciudad, uno sobre negocios y eventos, y otro sobre decoración, moda y arquitectura.

However, I can confirm that service to BOG is starting July 24th...it was even today added to the drop down list of destination on spiritair.com. their normally crazy sale is sure to follow soon thereafter...
