Apartment Rental Medellin

Living in Bogota for the month and heading to Medellin next week for a vacation. I would like to find a nice, furnished, 1 bedroom in Poblado for a reasonable price to rent for the month of June. Maybe it's just me, but most of the rental prices I'm seeing posted on line and here seem really high. I'm living in a three bedroom, two bathroom fancy apartment with DSL in Rosales for $600 US a month. Spending $850 to rent two rooms in a shared apartment in an area outside of Poblado, or $800 or $900 for a shabby 1 bedroom in Poblado doesn't sound that great. Where do the locals find the real deals? Who actually knows of someone or somewhere to get a nice 1 bedroom in Poblado $600. I know this is doable. Help! Thanks...

Just to inform you the price for the two rooms is not US $850 but 850.000 Cop or US $ 404. That does make a big difference!

I heard you can get a furnished 1 bedroom studio in Poblado for around 1.200.000 - 1.400.000 Cop or US $ 570-660,- Also depending on whether you want to have internet.

I am not sure where to look for that, maybe some others can help you out. I just heard somebody rented a studio for something like 1.3 or 1.4 million Cop. I don't think he had internet.
