Apartment available in Medellin (nr Laureles, fully furnished sublet)

I have an apartment in Medellin that I am considering sub-letting for a period of 2 to 4 months.

* Brand new building, just completed in May 2007
* Nice neighbourhood right on the border of Laureles.
* Lots of shops, restaurants within walking distance.
* Quiet street.
* Fully furnished. Nicely decorated with brand new furniture and appliances.
* Orientation is East / West (view of the mountains from either side of the apartment).
* Easy access to La 33, La 80, La 70, Centro etc.
* 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms.
* Cable internet 700k/256k.
* Secure parking.
* Easygoing Colombian owners. No need for cedula or contract. Just pay a month deposit and rent in advance.

This is a great option if you are just arriving in Medellin. Without a Colombian ID and co-signer, you will find it hard to sign up a place for rent anywhere in the city. Not to mention waiting for the utilities to be connected, buying all furniture etc.

During August the apartment is being shared with one other gringo. Possibility to rent the entire apartment after the end of August.

Available starting August 8th (please contact me ASAP, as I will be travelling during the puente of the 3rd to 7th and then leaving Medellin on the 8th).

Price per month is 800k if sharing. 1,400k if renting the entire apartment. This is a sub-let until I get back to Medellin later in the year.

Includes:
- all basic utilities
- fully furnished apartment
- maid service once per week
- cable TV
- internet is additional, about 120k per month
