Hi, we had our AOS interview and were approved without even getting asked a question other than just verifying address names telephone numbers .We had no proof on paper because my wife came over in januaray and we married that month started her paperwork in february -got nothing for almost 3 months than got her work permit and the date of the interview within a couple of days -so we than applied for ss# and only got that the week before the interview -so we had nothing in our names together .all we had were photos which the interviewer said he did not need -i even asked the interviewer after approval about it being so easy and he said being that we had already been interviewed in colombia that showed a strong history together and prior screening .................To all those that helped and i have talked to over the last year to year and a half - thanks and good luck to all .

Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

rjstuff says on Aug 9, 2006, 07:29: Not true in all cases, may depend on your service center We had our interview in Denver and the interviewer took all our evidence e.g. Bank statements, health insurance, utility bills etc. - and said that once he gets the name check, he will then decide and let us know! Bogota had nothing to do with it. So, better get your evidence together in any case - not all AOS applicants get approved without interviews and not all get approved without 'some' evidence. I know of several others (from Colombia) and not a single one got approved without an interview. But I do consider 'Denver' to be fairly easy as he was friendly and professional and we were done in 20 minutes. good Luck
