Anyone rent a Chiva before?

I have about 15-20 friends going to Medellin in February. My wife and I are having a wedding ceromony in Colombia for her family. Anyway I never did a Chiva (Not even sure if this is spelled correctly) before and she thought my friends would enjoy it. What do you usually do on these things? How much do they cost to rent? Do people do them at night or the day? Where do they go? All my wife will tell me is they are fun.

They are great fun! I've never rented the whole Chiva, but we've had quite a few people on one in Cali. Just imagine a disco crammed into a school bus and you start to get the idea.

My only warning is if loud music and dancing aren't your idea of a good time, then you should probably keep looking for another idea.

hi brian... the price varies drastically on where you are. if you're in a mtn pueblo, they're relatively cheap. in a city like medellin or cali, they run about 100,000 for the night.

my sister rented one last christmas for the whole family to drive around medellin and see the sights. great adventure.
