My fiancee's sister tipped me off that my fiancee really wants a mariachi band to come and play on our wedding night at midnight. I guess its a tradition for some people? Does anyone know how I can find a Mariachi band in Cartagena for December 21st? Thanks!

utopiacowboy says on Oct 11, 2004, 16:39: My brother-in-law told me the tradition was for the mariachis to come play the night before the wedding - maybe the custom varies depending on where you are in Colombia. It was quite easy to find a mariachi band in Medellin - they all congregate in one spot and you negotiate a time and price for later that night. Someone in your fiance's family should be able to help you with this in Cartagena. Disclaimer: any comment I make is inane and is not to be taken seriously, and is so patently ridiculous that no one should take it seriously, even as an insult. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
