Anyone interested in a meetup tonight at Lotus Club (Bogota)?

I've never been to Lotus before but I hear that it's a really cool place located somewhere around 58th street and carrera 10. A friend of mine is the featured DJ tonight (friday) and he's given me door passes. Since I don't know that many people yet here in Bogota, I'm asking anyone who might be interested. It would be cool to have a nice group to hang with at the event. I'm not really into electroic music but I guess this is a special ocassion so I'm going. BTW, I'm not trying to get a date... but since I have an extra pass I thought I'd share it with somebody form the site. PM me.

Este sitio Lotus no lo conozco pero entiendo que queda en la 58 con 10. Resulta que el DJ estrella de esta noche es amigo mio y me ha regalado pases para entrar a una fiesta que hay hoy viernes en la noche. Yo estoy mas o menos recien llegado a Bogota y pues no tengo con quien ir que sea de este ambiente... si a alguien le interesa acompañarme me pueden enviar un PM y de pronto nos podemos encontrar alla o algo. La verdad es que yo NO soy amante de la musica electronica, pero pienso ir porque tengo ganas de salir y por apoyar a mi amigo. Espero que no me vayan a borrar este thread pues no estoy buscando una cita, sería como un meetup no mas.

carolain i had never heard of lotus (yes, i know, I don't get out much) and was unaware that it was supposedly a gay place. Anyway, Litost is right, tonight was definitely not a men-only night. If it was i would not even consider going. Tonight --friday-- was a Beats of Life night, pure electronica with DJ fruto and DJ mario.

Anyway, I did not go to Lotus after all. I went to Usaquen with other friends. BBC early on and then we went to a place called 6L6 Chillout also in usaquen at about 12:30 am which was kind of cool. Had a media of Caldas with CocaCola and that was it. I just got back.

We'll probably keep doing stuff on fridays. It would be great to bring some new people. Let me know if anyone's interested...
