Can't see the movie ... or only half of it, those annoying Google ads get in the way.

It's a great lesson, so I've taken the liberty of putting it again up myself.

"Salsa" It is actually mambo. I suggest you listen to your instructor and follow the "1-2-3 PAUSE 5-6-7 PAUSE" and then forget that and listen for the clave in the song.

I dance every Saturday night in a club in my hometown with women from all over the world. Their styles vary. The chinos are stiffer than the gringas, the Ticas dance on the one, side to side, the colombianas are pretty smooth, although the caleñas like the vueltas y las costeñas no. Interesting enough, the best dancer I have encountered lately is from Nigeria.

love2colombia My husband dances like the guy doing the shinein your posting and it scares the hell out of the other guys here in the UK so much so that they prefer to go to Eglish guys classes who dance like they've got a broom stuck up their arse rather than come to his salsa classes. We just despair....

Colombians also dance very differently: in Cali they move their hands around a lot, and generally in Colombia they dance rather "understated" (compared to New York where they show off a lot).

Poor but snappy
