which equals 90.5....allowable per 90"....(they probably forgive the .5 inch excess)

i already did the homework........and a phone call to Avianca confirmed....

now i just need to buy it..jajajjajaja

You can send things like TVs as cargo, but checked luggage is a different story...also, the size of the box is not indicative of the size of the TV inside.....

so have i Brian, that is why i thought about doing the same.....Avianca is actually more liberal when it comes to TV sets....

Thanks for the info. But I was wondering if there is a dealer in Cali that can handle's Vizio TV's. They are cheaper than Sony's. A 42" go's for less than $900 in AK. I'll be bringing it down from the US. A 42" one would be about the right size to bring. But my novia has her heart set on a 48-50". My buddy in AK has a 42" Vizio. Looks great. The matter of the electricity is a good thought too. Was originally looking for someone in Cali that handle's Vizio's. Just in case I need to get some warranty work done. If in fact the warranty is good in Cali. If bought in the US? Again thanks.
