Any US citizen ever applied for a retirement visa from Col?

Just today got my one year temp visa from DAS. It will take me through my official retirment. Do I have to go back to the states to apply for a retirement visa or can it be done from Bogotá?
Any help ot there?

LaloG It seems to me that you are in the better position to determine that. I would have inquired when I was at DAS obtaining my visa.
