Any news of La Linea????

I posted a week or so ago about how my sis-in-law was crossing La Linea when some guerilla guys bummed a ride for an hour or so. Now there's been a minimum of 10 soldiers (kids) killed near Genova, which isn't part of the road, but part of La Linea. Looks like things are heating up up there. Anyone have any more info? I'm supposed to go back up there this weekend/early next week.

I guess we got lucky with the timing because my wife and I had planned on going ot Genova to spend a night or two - that's out now (stupid guerillas)
