Any information about Casa Kiwi Hostel in Medellin?

Does anybody know about this hostel and the area where it's located? The address I have is:

Casa Kiwi Hostel
Address : Carrera 36 # 7 - 10

I was kind of disappointed that nobody was interested in offering my brother and law a place to lay our weary heads when we visit in October. What happened to the comaradarie?

Anyway, we are probably going to crash a few days at a hostel or a decent hotel. If anybody has any ideas or suggestions, other than the usual hotels I've seen posted here on PBH please let me know. I really want to plan a nice trip.

Thanks.

Casa Kiwi Hey,

If you get a taxi from the bus terminal just give the taxi driver the address and he should find it for you.

Its located in El Poblado, which is a clean, safe area, a stones throw from the el poblado nightlife district, about 5 min walk from the metro station.

A good friend of mine works there :)

They have a pool table, cable tv, etc etc.

Its a good place.

hostels in medellin I was in MDE last week and looked at the Kiwi before deciding to stay at the Provenza hostel instead. The Kiwi is more of a party place whereas the Provenza is a couple of blocks further from Parque Lleras and therefore quieter. It's also exponentially cleaner. Just don't take private room #1 since it's directly over the street and gets too much traffic noise. Otherwise this is one of the nicest hostels I've seen anywhere. It all matters what you're looking for...
