another question about latinismos

Why is that everyone in Colombia, seems like especially my grandmother labels attorneys as "picaros"? what does this imply

And just because I am half colombian does not mean I am in tune with my spanish..I was raised here in the South of all places.

computer transation = "sting you". It appears that lawyers world wide have a bad rep. I guess so many of them have screwed people they have earned that title. Too bad, that's one profession that should be able to provide correct and valuable advise/service.

One lawyer says to another lawyer, "I consider myself a passionate man, but, of course, a lawyer first."

His father answers, "An attorney is the same thing as a lawyer...except they charge higher fees!"

How come you're not back in Colombia? After six months there you'd be teaching us what all these words mean.

Public opinon shows that 99% of the attorneys give the others a bad name.
