another possibility to make a little money in Colombia that people haven´t really touched on

If you own any property outright without any problems (such as legal, tax, mortgage) in one of the major cities like Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Cartagena, Barranquilla, and can prove some income (even via a fake certification letter), you should be accepted as a co-deudeor on a lease and you could charge say $50000-$100000/mo. plus whatever other terms such as a couple months up front and fax/email a copy of the cancelled rent/utilities facturas monthly so you wont get stiffed. Remember you dont put up your house. That´s a myth. I really haven´t heard of any foreigners running out on a lease down here. Many would offer to pay 6 months up front but they get declined by rental agencies because it´s the owning property thing always trips them up. I know a few PBH´ers that own property outright. Is it worth your time to make maybe an extra millon a month if you co-signed for 10 gringo/euro/aussie renters?

I think I'd hesitate to take that risk with anyone I did not know personally for a very long time.

What are the legal ramifications if someone you co-sign for skips out on their lease?

you are on on the hook thus why you need to include terms in your favor.

Word to the wise. I would not trust the likes of the freaks, losers and whiners (renters) that rented my place. Never doing it again.

I saw one day on the news that Tokyo had flavored oxygen. If you could get some caffeine in the oxygen it would probably be a big hit there.

The Circle Ks here in NW Florida sell flavored, bottled oxygen. What a waste of $5.00! It might be worth $5.00 to throw in a fire and watch what happens.

BEWARE of gold diggers.

azunoman...I don't believe you have to go all the way to Tokyo to find flavored oxygen... I think it can be had right down the road, in Abbeville.... jajj.. what flavor would you like?

Forget the legal ramifications,, you pay what ever is required on the lease or someone might kill you, if they can find you.

Everyone has great credit where I live.

Anyway, not a bad idea but WAY TO RISKY.
