You want to get upset about a person making $2 an hour (or a little more), a Job that almost no US citizen wants, but no one is upset over a legal worker (H1 etc) thats taking away the $40 an hour plus jobs!
I think their anger is misplaced. The only place I understand there anger is they don't like construction jobs going to illegals - thats an easy $10 plus an hour jobs that many US citizens love - no education needed for these. But they do not have the aptitude to study to get the High tech jobs or physicians jobs or thousands of other high paying jobs like those.
Its pathetic and I pity those fools (down Mr.T.)

2) try to make it law that the USA give full Spanish names to our cities, streets, rivers, mountains, and schools under the ruse of "wanting to preserve the heritage of the area".
3) trying to make names like Jose the norm in the USA.
4) Hispanick legislators introducing their own legislation to create USA national holidays that honor Hispanicks. Has anyone realzied no USA national hoiliday honors any specific Anglo or Norwegian?
5) making it law that HIspanicks will work the best jobs in the USA, because again they claoim to be the ones who created the USA and who made us great.

That's how Hispanicks plan to prove to the world how great they are. Hispanick macho pride will never allow the world to see them as having created failed societies all over the world. No way.

NEVER has there been a more coddled and catered to immigrant group then the hispanics. People from all over the world wait and suffer for years to gain legal entry to the US. Latin Americans, however, arrive on our shores illegally and then STAY here for years, creating a family and a life for themselves. And then, when their world comes crashing down on them because they are here illegally and now must be deported, Hisanic Congressmen and Senators intervene on their behalf; somehow the laws of the US do not apply to Hispanic illegals.

And still, through all of this you want our sympathy. Sympathy from the people whose jobs you have displaced and whose language (ENGLISH)you treat with disdain as you turn your nose up at us by refusing to learn OUR languagte. YOU came HERE. We did not ask you to come here. And yet you cannnot bring yourself to learn OUR language so that you can communicate with us in our land? The arrogance of Hispanics is monumental. No other people on earth express such a sentiment of entitlement and arrogance. PLEASE GO BACK TO YOUR HOME COUNTRY, THANKS!

I agree with bumboklaat, sorry Simon but I have seen a lot of abuse by these illegal immigrants who live in the USA, they abuse the Health Care System, the laws, they lie, cheat, and they do not make $2.00 an hour that is a lot of crock..s..t, I have paid people to clean my house 80.00 for a couple of hours and they do not even do the job right. We have paid for someone to paint our house 20.00 an hour and a lousy job; and by the way there are lots of legal workers/citizens and white americans that charge less and do a well done job. So imho yes, the illegals do take jobs that are rightfully for citizens and legals, they do not pay taxes and they ABUSE the US laws, services and they do it with false papers, besides they do not want to learn the languaje and expect everyone to speak spanish when the language of the US is English, not french, not russian, not arabic, not german, not chinese, not portuguese, etc.
Our Health System is expensive and we have to pay for very expensive insurance, yet an illegal goes to a hospital and some times they do not pay a dime for services because they are uninsured; and guess who pays for them?....We do, the taxpayers!!!
Like I said before, not everybody falls into these categories, but unfortunately the majority does.

Simon, that surprises me you live in Miami! I recognize those posters who left some of those ignorant racist Comments and would you believe more then a few were left by people in your own Nationality Group, the Miami Cubans. They are some of the most racist people you will meet and last I knew they were catagorized as Latino. Those working here illegally do more then dilute a Painter's Wage, they make it extremely difficult for an Honest Licensed Contractor who goes thru all the Hoops of conducting his Business in a Legal manner. He has to get Workman's Comp, his Occupational license, his Professional license(plummer, Beautician, electrician,A/C ect) as well as Liability insurance. Someone working illegally gets none of these and drastically undercuts an Honest Businessman/woman as they don't have all the legal expenses. Is it fair to Punish the Honest Businessman worker? If they(illegal) get sick, they take themselves down to Jackson Memorial(miami's public trust hospital) and get treated at Taxpayer's expense. In 2006 Jackson wrote off close to $450,000,000(that's millions) Indigent medical care and of that amount, something like 60% went to healthcare for illegals. Now who is not being Generous?

In a recent poll, over 70% of the American Public stated they are against Illegal Immigration, NOT Legal Immigration. Thats why the Bush/McCain/Kennedy Amnesty plan in 2007 was rejected twice overwhelmingly. And it will be rejected a 3rd time if it should be brought up in 2009, NO matter who is our new President. You must differentiate between the two. Legal Yes, Illegal NO,,,

Simon, in many cases, these posters are opening fire on the Cubans and a lot of what they say is true! They are Arrogant, Commit all kinds of medicare fraud, Business fraud, refuse to learn english(some have been here 30 years and don't speak a word) and feel that they are far and above SUPERIOR to other Latin Immigrants such as Colomban, Honduran ect. the illegal inmigration problem in the US is not because of spanish people, the group everybody in the same bag, why they dont put chinese inmigrants in teh same bag with teh japanese and the vietnamese?, if you see the real facts, mexicans are the 70% of illegal inmigrants in the US, there is more than 32-33 million of mexicans in teh US and more of them are illegaly, if you clasify everybody by their country of origin nobody will be saying there is a spanish problem in the US, but a mexican problem instead, colombians in the US are not even close to the mexicans numbers, basicly we are not part of teh problem, take us out of that bag(spanish) and call us what we are COLOMBIANS, we barely get to 2 millions in the US, that is not a big number considering the millions of italians, germans, british, and otehr europeans ho migrated to the US
