American Whiskey in Colombia

I want to buy a bottle of Jack Daniel's Tennessee whiskey
Do they sell it in Manizales and if they do where can I buy it at?

Try the airport The next time you're in an international airport you can probably find some.

You can probably also ask at any decent size liquor store to order one for you.

One thing I have not been able to find here is Jack Daniels. Noone has even heard of it. I don't drink it but it may be a way of getting my dad to visit.

regarding liquor
what ever you do don't buy liquor at the San Andrisitos....it may be cheaper by up to 50 % but they are pros at opening the bottle and watering down the liquor .....if you want real imported liquor look at Exito....and the larger chain stores.....I don't think they would screw with this stuff....I am pretty sure I have seen Jack at exito...I will check next time I am there

I have never seen a bourbon at Exito. I have only been to the Exitos in Bogota and Villavicencio though. I have also never met a person - in my VERY limited experiences, that have even heard of Bourbon or Canadian whisky. From what I have seen, whisky in Colombia means Scotch. Punto. I saw Jack Daniels at the Tequendama in Bogota for $5.00 US a mini-bottle. Other than that, I have never seen Jacky Black in Colombia. I plan on bringing down a few bottles (Jack) next trip for the family. They might like it compared to Scotch ... or maybe not?

BEWARE of gold diggers.

All the men in my family Drink the JD there all from Tenn Except me , I was raised in Texas an hated Jack Daniels when i was young sneeking it out of the house or bar in our house. But , something happened through college i went back to johnnie Black when i drink. Jack Daniels Tells no lies its the same everytime you start drinking it you can tell how much someone has had just by looking at them. If you wanna have a good time but not be too out of control just have five or six JD W/water an lime wedge over a couple two or three hours , if you wanna be fist fighing out in the parking lot drink 10 or more w/coke an lime , If you wanna be lost when you wake up an not know where the hell you are just keep drinking it till you dont remember.
