You do not count Miami always has discounts. I hate you guys from Florida. I live on the west coast. These prices are really good, plus I get frequent flyer miles.

Nice Prices Problem is you need to add almost $ 100.00 for add on fees and taxes.

That is normal now. The tax, airport security, tax, and other crap. It sucks, but all the airlines are doing it.

I may go ahead and purchase a ticket for September. I need to do this ASAP, because these fairs are good for a couple more days.

No, the problem is that America is filled with a bunch of stupid idiots (the election would indicate the majority) that are pacified and feel safer just becaused their tax (travel tax - e.g. $2.50 per segment... and the $4billion in new taxes funding TSA) is increased... or their boarders are closed to many of our friends desiring tourist or fianceé visas.... etc.

The borders are closed? When did that happen?

Ah UC, you know what I mean...

Can non-EU or equivalent-type (e.g. Japan, Australia, Switzerland, etc.) citizens enter the U.S. without a visa like before?

Are they granting tourist or education or religious visit visas to non-priviledged and/or rich people as they did before?

Basically, I'd say, we've closed the borders to a huge population of the world (for example, a typical/average Argentinian or Brasilian or Romanian or Egyptian or Indonesian person).

Excellent fare from Chicago......and would you believe, I lost my passport, and it is practically new!!! I know it is somewhere in my house.

utopiacowboy says on Jul 22, 2005, 11:27:

In answer to your questions, yes, the Visa Waiver Program and the arrangement with Canada which does not require visas from Canadians are still alive and well. The borders were always closed to Third World people before and after 9/11 - well, as closed as they ever are. Which isn't very closed - it's still easy to get in from Mexico or Canada.
