Am I the only PBH member living in La Guajira?

Im curious if Im the only PBH member out here in the boonies?
Kinda is cool but at times it can get quite boring.
So safe I could sleep with the door open.

What could a teacher at an international school owned by a huge multinational corporation earn in La Guajira? Are there any openings?

Brian Ill answer your question in a PM.
I live in La Mina, El Cerrejon, pretty interesting setup out here. Safest place in Colombia, Uribe hangs out here with very little protection.

yeah its a compound. Kinda like a small American city. People play tons of sports, but off course Im coming off a knee surgery. I ride my moto out a lot on the weekends. Im going to Valledupar today for the long weekend. We have a plane that we can use to go to Bogota or BAQ twice a month. It can get quite boring, I miss the city. I got to decide if Im coming back very soon for another school year. I miss the city.

Thats exactly where i used to live! Nice little town. I used to roller blade all around town at night with all my friends when i was 5 years old and there was no need to worry. Let me guess you're teaching at Albania? Can you tell me how I could arrange a flight there? Ive always wanted to go back.

How long did u live here? Its kinda like Mayberry or Pleasantville. Lates

I was told that when they found this they built the building around the fosil so not to disturb it. That means the water level was really high or at one time that area was really low and the mountains pushed it up. I think the elevation there is about 6000 feet.

what ever that creature was, i sure wouldn't like to be around at dinner time. doesn't look like a vegan to me.

at berkeley, in the palentology building, they had the bones of a 'bog' elk, from ireland (?) or somewhere where there's "bog" in england..... the antlers were 12 or 13 feet across. what a monster. musta stood at least ten to fifteen ft tall.

Some of the critters that ran around here before us are really something. I think I would pass on swimming in the same pool with this one.

Thats a great way to put it; pleasant-ville. I lived there for 7 years but I'm in Canada now as you can see in my profile information. I don't know anybody there anymore that was ages ago. I thought that place wasn't gonna be around anymore? I heard in 2000 that their deal with the wayuu's for the land was almost over. I'm glad it still exists. You know what? I have friends who I met there who now live a few blocks away from me in Canada. Cool huh?

alright not a big secret I make about 27 grand with about 15% to 20% out for deductions, plus a free house and utilities.
You MUST have a US, Canadian, or UK teacher credential . They dont deal with ESL teachers at all.
If you have a credential PM me and I can give u more details.

Hey les the mina has about 25 o 30 more years of life left. Its crazy, they are still building new houses. Its frigging money pit, but quite the operation. Its like a military base. That is crazy having neighbors from there!
