Anyone know of any good deals for airline tickets on Avianca to Medellin, like to fly out of Miami, dates are not important, still waiting for passports that I had to renew, taking awhile

Just need to look every few days. American was running a one day sale for $335.00 incluidng all taxes 2 Fridays ago, I jumped on that. Over the past weekend, both Ameican and Avianca had flights for the same price but now the best price for both airlines is $454.00. If I see it go down under 400,00 I wil let you know.

See the prices below. They are about the best prices you may get. This prices will only last this week (restrictions). The restrictions are reasonable. Check it out. This is on American, better then Avianca. These are round trip, you will need to add another 100 or so for taxs and crap.

Book quickly.

Once the passports arrive, I will book a flight from Miami to Medellin, wonder if there is a direct flight out of Chicago, a little closer to me but will check it out. thanks for all the info, trying to get there sometime in Dec. and then going back again in the summer, can't wait to see the country and all the people I have not seen in years.

Chloe,

The prices I posted are good until tomorrow, I think. They run until DEC. I suggest you reserve the tickets at least, they can hold them for a weeks or two. American flies into Colombia via Miami. No direct flights on American from Chicago.

You aware that there is a rush at the Passport office. They are really backed up several months. This is due to the two new laws they are going to introduce. You will need a passport to cross, fly, or go by boat into Mexico. You should of gotten a rush job. I got mine in a month. They even called me to apologize for the delay.

Good Luck,

Ruv

Ruv,
You are right, I should have gotten a rush for the passports, I was told in 8 to 10 weeks since mine was a renewal, figured I'd have plenty of time, now I will wait for the passports, my ex in Medellin said to just get the reservations because I could find a good deal on the tickets, I will keep watching and reserve. Will probably fly out of Miami then I can stay there a couple of days and enjoy south beach.
thanks, chloe
