Airline price for 13 yr old ..Barranquilla to Bogota?

My stepdaughter is stranded in Barranquilla after going via Bus with my wife's friend and daughter... who promptly returned by air without a thought of my stepdaughter. Now , my wife says she contacted Avianca and they want 680,000 COP. Sounds like Avianca is pulling a fast one. Anyone have any additional info or suggestions?

Thanks
Terry

Why would they return by air without her and strand her there? This is gonna be a good one...

Who's watching over a 13yr old female by herself in Baranquilla? Sounds peculiar, frightening and outrageous!

My stepdaughter originally lived in Barranquilla and she returned to visit with her grandmother. We thought this was the ideal time as the friend was going with her daughter to Barranquilla. How someone can totally disregard the responsibilbiy entrusted is beyond me. Now... the friend is attempting to make a number of excuses, apologies, etc. Its a good thing that the sicarios don't have a website!

Thanks briarblue.... I have advised my wife to contact them and make the arrangements. The grandmother will have to go to the airport and sign papers as the daughter has only the child's ID with her.

Thank you!
Terry

I would not even CLICK ON THOSE LINKS for all the tea in china.. I am almost 100% positive that somebody is monitoring those sights and who ever visits them very carefully.. Most likely from the U.S. under the patriot act, and the older "stupid dumb ass act" looking for scicarios on the internet.

You're welcome, Terry.

Don't think they take PayPal, but I do know that you can book a reservation and pay online using an International credit/debit card.

briarblue.... my wife has the money in Colombia... she will make the arrangements... I hope.
And... hahaha the Paypal comment was in reference to the 'Sicarios'

And... azumoman.. I think she could handle herself quite well. She is one very strong willed individual. I've seen her on the beach in Cartagena...with the vendors.... and with her mother... I feel sorry for the poor bastard that gets tangled up with her when she's older.But.... alone on a bus trip for 18 hours? Naw... I wouldn't feel right and I won't take the chance.

Thanks again
Terry

Wait,, 13 ? did she look 13 ? I don't know,, a 13 year old at a bus station ? alone ? If she looks older I'd make sure she was wearing a plaid skirt and white blouse,, no madonna type bra. 13 year old kids lack common sense.
