Will somebody please explain to me how they can charge 100,000 in taxes when the face value of the ticket is only 120,000. Please tell me there is a fuel surcharge or something.

miamimike says on Jun 30, 2008, 23:06: Today I read of one Airline that imposed a $120 Fuel Surcharge on their ticket prices. Sadly, the Offseason months of Cheap Airline Tickets to Colombia is going the way of the Passenger Pigeon, to extinction. In a year or two, probably even less, Today's Ticket prices are going to seem like firesale bargains,,, "Wait a minute. What did you just say? You're predicting $4-a-gallon gas? That's interesting. I hadn't heard that." -- Feb. 28, 2008 --George W. Bush, Washington, D.C. 0 funny, 0 helpful. |

RJQuilla says on Jul 12, 2008, 20:17: I cant find a link for Aires anywhere when I search?????? Can someone help me. I need a flight in Colombia and Aires or Avianca are the only two carriers that offer service. Short flight under 30 mins but Avianca wants over $400 for that, obviously inflated Gringo price. I will probably have to walk up and book it at the airport.

Alma del Norte says on Jul 18, 2008, 20:34: "Most of those taxes are set by the government and are not necessarily based on the fare. They are fixed airport taxes, fuel surcharges, etc. For example, Easy Fly has some promotional fares that are $20,000 roundtrip. However, the taxes and surcharges add another $160,000 to the total price paid." La vida es una rutina 0 funny, 0 helpful. |
