goin_south says on May 5, 2008, 18:09: after Uribe... of course... Uribe. ..... leavin louisiana in the broad day light |
romy says on May 5, 2008, 18:15: Actually, the coalition that supports Uribe might be breaking apart.
Gator says on May 5, 2008, 18:55: Way to early to speculate. Dr. Uribe still has an extremely, almost surreal, high popularity standing in Colombia. "Brevior Sltare Cum Deformibus Mulieribus Est Vita!" . |
romy says on May 5, 2008, 19:04: I guess this is the reaity of the electorate... or at least the few that vote (are included in this survey)

Gator says on May 5, 2008, 20:09: "...or at least the few that vote" "Brevior Sltare Cum Deformibus Mulieribus Est Vita!" . |

robi666 says on May 6, 2008, 02:27: 85%? "I am a citizen of the most beautiful nation on earth. A nation whose laws are harsh yet simple, a nation that never cheats, which is immense and without borders, where life is lived in the present." |
kat1 (Moderator) says on May 6, 2008, 02:32: Uribe is still very popular in Colombia, what happen is we have not yet seen a candidate who we can trust and know that he is not going to turn Colombia back in like it was before. engage brain before opening mouth |
romy says on May 6, 2008, 05:49: "I am sure if we have a candidate tan berraco como Uribe then sure we will vote for him, but what is going on, i haven't seen anyone, i am feed up with people like Samper, I don't like Antanas, Serpa entre otros"

billyb says on May 6, 2008, 07:03: It's like Al Gore hiring Noemi Wolf to teach him how to be an alfa male, if you need someone to teach you, you ain't one.
romy says on May 6, 2008, 07:33: billyb, this like in other circumstances in which I have explicitly mentioned, I'm not asking you because I know you don't know.
billyb says on May 6, 2008, 08:04: It's ok Roms, i don't really need your invitation to chime in. And like I mentioned above, if you have to ask what it is, you don't have it ;)
romy says on May 6, 2008, 08:08: oh I'm sorry, by no means was I censuring you. To me it just seems pointless to 'chime in' if you don't have answers to the questions people ask. But it seems that's part of the cheerleader mentality.
billyb says on May 6, 2008, 08:12: ah there romy, have some warm milk and you'll feel better. And try get some help on that cheerleader obsession you have going on.

romy says on May 6, 2008, 08:23: "have some warm milk and you'll feel better" I actually like my milk cool but in the afternoon. At this time of the day I can only have coffee and orange juice, though. I'm actually feeling pretty good today, yesterday was a bit rough though I was caught speeding and I was feeling sore from playing footy basically all day sunday. But thanks for your concern.

slguy says on May 6, 2008, 08:36: you anti-uribe folk get sooooo tiresome. i've come to think of you all as the "yea, but" crowd. Before you throw me out, make sure I pay my bar tab |
romy says on May 6, 2008, 08:38: slguy- that's the nature of complex situations, which I know you don't like. I'm sorry the world is not black and white.
slguy says on May 6, 2008, 08:47: i never claimed anything to be black/white...except how tiresome it becomes to see you guys constantly complaining about uribe, and never admitting to his many successes. Before you throw me out, make sure I pay my bar tab |
romy says on May 6, 2008, 09:04: I'm thankful for many of the end results of Uribe's policies, such as safety and economic prosperity in Colombia. However (here it comes...), I find them to be incomplete and often I do not agree with the means by which they are achieved so it's hard for me to praise him.

Gator says on May 6, 2008, 16:46: We thought Mockus was a payaso but at least he did no harm. "Brevior Sltare Cum Deformibus Mulieribus Est Vita!" . |
manINred says on May 6, 2008, 19:27: Slguy, I agree! Colombians like Uribe despite what many would have us believe, and he maintains huge legitimate support, despite what many would have us believe, and Colombians know what's best for them, not foreigners. That's all that matters.

Gator says on May 7, 2008, 18:24: "Buggy which one of your handles you choose to keep? I'm deleting the other one. So, you can be either cassini or buggy, not both. "Brevior Sltare Cum Deformibus Mulieribus Est Vita!" . |
