After Reading some posts on food, now I am hungry!

I am not too familiar with Colombian cusine, YET! But am interested in learning! Yes, I read the one thread discussing the various diets between different estrados...All that did was make me hungry!

I want to know about Colombian FOOD, is there any good Colombian restaurants in the States? (West Coast) and where does one go to learn about delicious Colombian food, here in the states. Admitted by my wife, she doesn't cook much, and I love to cook, so to keep the Colombian culture alive in our home, i want to delve into great Colombian dishes...

I have been to a few Cuban restaurants back east, and loved them, especially the plantanos fritos with a mango salsa! Good Stuff!!!

As Rachael Ray might say Colombian Tamales are to die for.....It has been 10 years but there was place called Tamales Ramada in Cali and another place called Seviche Guapi for seafood. YUM!

I agree tamales are delicious and Cali makes great tamales! In Tolima they also make tasty tamales.
Here are some Colombia restaurants in central area:

I do not know about the East coast but in New York City, MaFe would be the best source of information about Colombian restaurants in the big apple.
