Affordable hotels located in Cali

Hello all:

I am planning a two week trip to Cali in November and am looking for advice regarding hotels. Specifically, within the price range of $50-70/per night. In addition, any commentary on "experiences had" would be much appreciated. Thank you for your assistance in advance.

Try Torre de Cali For 150,000 Cop you stay in Torre de Cali which is quite good, very central and a fantastic view on Cali. Stayed their once during the Cali carnival and I thought it was good value for money

If you spend about a 100 USD you can stay in the Cali Intercontinental which i personally think is the best. Very great location, great swimming pool and one of the better restaurants in Cali. Good security

Torre de Cali Torre de Calli seems a good alternative to me.
According to "Foorprint": north of the river and not too far from la Sexta.
And a reasonable price.
Is it in a save area? And are there more alternatives?
