Advantages / Disadvantages

Hello all its question time again...
1st... I just got married last May in Colombia to my Piasa. We now have our apt and bank account (She's the primary on it since we opened it up before we got married).
My question is since I am married in Colombia to a Colombianna and have the certificate to show, should I go apply for a Cedula? I'd like to buy a car in the very near future, so do I need it to get a drivers license and have the car registered in my name? What's involved in getting the license?
A little background on me,,,I work outside of Colombia for 28 days and then fly back to Colombia for 28 days, so technically I can stay as a tourist? If I chose to get the Cedula will I have to start paying Colombian taxes?
I realize that getting a Cedula will open many doors for me but it may also have its disadvantages...i could just continue coming in as a tourist every month (no exit taxes at the airport as well). What are your thoughts?
