Adopting a Colombian Baby

Hi, I was hoping that someone would have some information on how the adoption process goes in Colombia... I live in the U.S. and wanted to see what the laws and process are about adopting a colombian baby.... Any information is gladly appreciated.... Thanks

Hello,

All the information available on the internet about the adoption has changed and not longer is update. A new law that is from may 27/07 modified the basic procedure.

Some basic questions would be what kind of child are you looking for( age,race, with/without borthers? coming from public or private foster home? how old are you? do you have financial support? and so on.

This new rule improved the requirements to access the adoption.
