Acupuncture-Effective Treatment for Hostage Trauma

This article http://colombiareports.com/2008/07/19/hostage-trauma-remains-with-form... started me thinking about effective treatment/affordable treatment for the various physical/psychological problems kidnapping victims suffer from.

Acupuncture isn't miracles it's low key but *very* effective for all kinds of things and the understated feeling of well being it generates is one of the things these people need to build on.

I don't know how common it is yet, but there are accupunturists in Colombia, my cousin's husband was being treated. I agree that it is a great supportive therapy.
