This article http://colombiareports.com/2008/07/19/hostage-trauma-remains-with-form... started me thinking about effective treatment/affordable treatment for the various physical/psychological problems kidnapping victims suffer from.
Acupuncture isn't miracles it's low key but *very* effective for all kinds of things and the understated feeling of well being it generates is one of the things these people need to build on.
