Hi: Has anyone stayed at this place, or have any information to share about same. I am a female looking at accommodation for my trip, would like to know about safety in this location , and how good is this facility, clean, service etc. Thanks all.

Lostgringo says on Jul 7, 2009, 12:15: There are lots of places where you can stay in Bogota. There are other hostels along the same street as the Platypus. Most places in Bogota are safe during the day. Some places unfortunately are not all that safe at night. Going back awhile now, but I doubt it is different in other hostels (Platypus, Feb '06).
