A way to read Spanish

Ever wish you could read material on your computer, online or off, that was way over your level? I've been doing that by using software by a company called Babylon. Click on any word and the definition and a pretty good explanation pops up. Just Google "babylon translation" and it'll come up. Oh, and it's free. It works for dozens of languages. I also use it for Japanese. Good luck.

Free? I went to download it and it offers me a 30-day trial version. Do you have that version or a different version?

If my memory serves me, I downloaded Babylon Pro for a free 30-day trial and at the end of it, the "Pro" features disappeared, leaving me with the free version, which is so good you won't even miss the "Pro". There's no time limit on the free version. I think one difference is that if you pay, have access to more glossaries and can download all of them for use offline, but I have a broadband connection so that's not an issue.
We all have to stop hiding behind our textbooks sometime and take the plunge. This helps. You can read your e-mail with it, too.
All the Best,
Steve

looks pretty good I downloaded the trial, didn't figure all out yet, but the single word translation already helps a lot.

I have been using www.freetranslation.com for text translations, seems to deliver best results in general, both ways.

Let's see how it helps me translate my recipes, I am learning a lot of Spanish translating them, because cooking makes sense to me.

gracias Stevens Mucho gracias amigo. Another helpful suggestion on this site. This type of communication is what I perceive to be the real value here.
