A tribute to the Colombian military for their impeccable rescue mission!

The Colombian Army is Full of Passion

For the second time the Colombian forces carried out a remarkable operation and this time without shooting a single bullet and without killing a single person.
They were armed with military intelligence this time and with a bulletproof rescue plan, an episode almost similar to the fictional movies that we have seen in theaters.
These heroes rescued Ingrid Betancourt, three Americans hostages and thirteen Colombian hostages.

From a deleted post, I rescued this comment I made couple of days ago.
"Great composers, writers and musicians, great in putting Colombian culture in soap operas. I agree also, great soldiers!"

Lcacique, "Poor hostages, one and all!!!"
I did not quite understand you comment but just in case and to avoid any misunderstanding I opened this post to compliment the soldiers who rescued the hostages since this was their second successful operation!
Of course the hostages are also heroes!!!

Monpirri, my comment was in response to being_there's comment:"Poor Ingrid!" While I feel tremendous sorrow for what she went through, my comment reflects that I feel sorry for all of the hostages.

With respect to the Colombian military: I know that I have been hard on them from time to time, but that is only because certain members have tainted their name by committing crimes (I fully understand that many soldiers serve Colombia honorably). Concerning these events, believe me, I'm right at your side praising their extraordinary efforts. I complete understand how all of you feel. Shit, I am not even Colombia and I feel tremendous pride for the Colombia Armed Forces. And like I said elsewhere, I neither love nor hate Uribe (lets just say I have concerns, nothing more nothing less); however, I applaud him unashamedly for his role in this glorious event.
